Marine Cargo insurance can be provided for you on open cover basis whereby the insurance cover is issued with known terms and conditions while items imported are declared by issuance of certificates. The Comprehensive marine cargo insurance cover (clauses ‘A’) provides cover for loss or damage to the Insured’s property as a result of the following:

• Perils of the seas
• Fire and explosion
• Theft of goods on board and short delivery
• Jettison
• Loss incurred to prevent a foreseeable severe loss on the high sea
• Stranding, grounding and sinking of conveying vessel
• Discharge at the port of distress
• Overturning or derailment of land conveyance
